The heavier a person is, the faster they lose weight. No one can predict how fast anyone can lose weight because the rate of loss can fluctuate for several reasons.

1,000 calories a day is too low for these people, even for the first person, who looked like the smallest of the three.

The more a person weighs, the more they should be eating. Yes, the more they should be eating. They can decrease the amount of food they eat as they lose weight. Generally, a bigger body needs more nutrution than a smaller one, bottom line. This doesn't mean an obese person can eat 8,000 calories a day and not worry, no. There must be a calorie deficit every day, but not too much of a calorie deficit, or the metabolism will slow down and hinder fat loss.

Steady, moderate, livable, lasting - that's the best kind of weight loss.

An excellent way to bolster fat loss is to lift heavy weights. That's right, <heavy> weights. Using light weights is useless. If a child can lift a 3-lb weight, what is a grown woman doing with them?

Fat gets metabolized much more quickly when a person lifts heavy weights than if they only do cardio.

As for bulking up, women don't have the physiology to bulk up. Only those on 'roids can bulk up, so as long as a woman lifts au naturel, she will not get all thick like a man.

I hope this helps.

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 400-600cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day (have lots of veggies to eat in between meals if you are still hungry)
8 glasses of water -carry bottle of water with you and when you feel hungry drink it - we often confuse hunger with thirst (our bodies confuse it)
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio is the only fat burning exercise and burns fat all over your body (running, jogging, swimming, spinning, elliptical etc) 4-6 times a week for average of 45min, light weight training a few times a week (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, ice cream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
of course you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)
use fitday.com for tracking your intake

was that guy naked under all that??..

People with a body like that will actually lose weight very quickly.

They can NOT eat under 1200 calories, though. Your body needs a minimum of 1200. If they exercised for 45-60 minutes a day (preferably doing cardio), then the weight will drop even faster.

Please, if you do have a body shape like the people in the pictures, then do NOT overwhelm yourself with the 'what if' statements. It's not realistic to go from (probably) eating over 2000+ calories w/ no exercise to eating a disgustingly low amount of calories with way too much exercise.

Take it slow. The weight will come off fast in the first couple of weeks, but you will have to have patience and dedication to lose the remaining weight.

Good luck.

There are scales or measures on the computer, all you do is enter some information, like the width of you waiste or arm and things like that, my dad did that, it measures your fat, maybe you can find one of those on the comp. hope this helps :-)
