I hate vegetables, and now my son hates them too, Is there a serious health risk!

Question: I have always hated the bitter taste of 95% of vegetables and I can not get over it. I have tried steaming, baking, boiling, making soups and even just raw and nothing has helped. I do like the basic salad with iceburg, romain, tomatoes, and cucumbers with either italian or ceaser dressing. I also eat baked potatoes, corn, onions, garlic, cabbage, and most fruits. However I am worried about my health problems and if they are from my lack of greens in my daily meals. I have tried so hard yet I find myself crying because I cant "make" myself eat them. I still find myself gaging from them gettin stuck on the back of my tongue, being bitter, too slimmy after being cooked, or just smelling "rotten". My son also hates vegetables and will not eat anything if it does not come from a fast food resturant, yet he is as thin as a rail. He is 7 and can still wear some of his 5 T's while his twin sister is wearing size 7 clothes( she eats veggies), and I now weigh 220lbs at 5'4. I'm now at my worst.

Vegetables contain some of the most important vitamins which you need for good health.

You eat quite good variety of vegetables.
Don't worry. I think you have different body problems with your son. However, do not overestimate this "vegetable" question.
Go for fruits and the vegetables you like. And - probably - think about changing the fast foods habits and things like that.
Good luck!
