How to not get bored when exercising?!


Question: When ever i exercise i only exercise on an eliptical for 15 minutes, i can go longer cause i can inschool, any help to keep my self motivated to keep going? im trying to get in better shape. Any ideas?

Music is good a lot of times. But it can also be a disadvantage because it prevents you from being able to hear your rate of breathing and makes it hard to keep in rhythm. It can even distract you from pain, making it easier to "go too far".

I also get bored when I exercise, but exercising outdoors if possible helps greatly because of the environment change.

Play a song on your ipod that really gets you pumped.

Try listening to music ^_^

just try walking, you don't get tired easy, and it's great if you do it for long periods of time-it keeps u really fit!

drink fizzy!! that'll give you a fast hit of sugar! and will keep you going throughout your exercise!

Music is #1 definately, showing off to some females by showing your chest, arms, abs is very fun lol as well, competition with your friends is good too!

Every one has taken my answer but i'll say it:

Put on your radio, ipod anything that ahs music and listen to it

Have fun with your excersising

i just thought of another way

watche tv when you do it!

Headphones are great, but to get started, get a routine, have a friend work out with you. If you are at a gym, ask someone (anyone) there to help you do ??whatever... if you get to know people where you exercise that will help as well.
