5'9 female ideal weight.?!


Question: i have been dieting lately and currently weight 145 pounds. measurements...34..27..38. i am 18 years old. im not really into a stick skinny body but more like the old britney spears body.... im not sure if my goal weight should be 6 pounds more to lose or ten pounds

Don't worry about your perfect weight and this why, if you want a tone and lean body like Miss Spears used to be then you need to lift weights along with working out. When you lift weights you'll gain muscle and muscle weighs more then fat. So I suggest you work towards your goal of loosing 6 pounds and instead of just cardio you weight train for 30 minutes a day at least 3 times a week and you will not only lose weight faster you'll look amazing and most likely won't need to loose any more weight. You don't won't to be obsessed with what the scale says though because looking better, by gaining muscle is more important then how much weight you loose.

im 5'9 and 131 lbs.

if you're 5'9 and weigh 145 lbs. then i think you're at a really good weight because most of that weight is just bones.i'm 5'5 and i weigh 122 lbs. but if you really wanted to lose weight i'd say try to lose 6 lbs.

well according to charts it's 100lbs for a 5' person and an extra 5 pounds for each inch taller you are. so you are bang on ideal weight. how much more you lose is just your personal opinion and decision, but you don't NEED to lose anything
