Have knee hip problems but need to know how to get rid of the fat?!
Question: I have Bilateral IT Band Syndrome, Chondromalasia, and Patellar Malalignment. Basically, knees and hips hurt with any bending, squating, stairs, or weight bearing exercises. But, I have a lot of weight in my thighs, butt, and hip areas that I really, really want to get rid of. Outside of taking pain meds before I exercise, I am at a loss as to what I can do to get rid of the fat. Anyone know of any exercises for these conditions?

swimming is the best exercise for people with joint problems, since it puts no pressure on joints.
It also is a great workout, cardio as well as strenght. If you consistently swim, you will see results!
