Is this a healthy diet?!
Question: i'm trying to lose some weight
& this is what i eat on a typical day....
i don't get up until 11 or noonish so i eat
1 baked chicken breast (w/fat free italian dressing)
with either a small side salad or some green veggies
like asparagus/green beans/mustard greens etc
water for drink
for a snack a few hours later i'll have a small amount of cashews
with a bottle of water
for dinner i'll have a can of tuna or a small eggdrop soup
i try not to anything after that but if i get too hungry
i'll eat a few more cashews or a few porkskins
is this healthy diet for losing weight?

As a nutrition and dietetics major, I'd say you're on the right track. I also have a few pointers for you as well. First off, there is no fruit in that diet. On average, one person needs 1 1/2 cups of fruit a day. Instead of eating cashews or porkskins in the evening, try grabbing a piece of fruit instead. Cashews and porkskins are both high in saturated fat and the evening is the most crucial time of day to eat healthy! Also as a snack, if you don't have any fruit on hand, try eating a 100-calories prepackaged snack. It can give you something a little chocolatey but in the right portion size!
what about fruits?
You are eating way too much protein and no fruit for Vit C.
Pork skins are pure fat.
add a green salad to the dinner with almonds in it
water
