What is a good way to make sure I wake up early, Alarms don't help I just sh!


Question: Like a previous poster said, put the alarm clock further away from you bed, so you have to get up and turn it off....then while your up, take a shot of liquid b-complex or b-12 vitamins, the liquid form is more potent and works faster.....in about 10-15 mins, you'll be up!

Willpower. look into it.

move the alarm far enough away from your bed that you have to stand up and walk over to turn it off.

Go to bed early.

Go to bed earlier. Try eating a banana about 2 hours prior to bedtime.

Set an alarm with your favorite music.So in the morning you will get more motivated to start your day.

force yourself to get up and throw cold water on yourself then take a shower and eat an apple.

Get your body into a routine. I am in a routine now and usually wake up a few minutes before my alarm most mornings.

I go to bed at 12 and get up at 6. Works like a charm. However you will have to find out how much sleep your body needs.

I am not sure what this has to do with diet and fitness. I set the alarm away from my bed so that I have to get out of bed to turn it off.

After that it is a matter of having the discipline to stay up and get ready for your day.

rig a bucket of water above your bed and have it tied to something in between you and your alarm clock, so that when you are sleepy and reach over to turn it off you get soaked. And also try to get to sleep early and not be up at midnight asking questions! Hope this helps :)

have someone turn the light on for you. my dad does that. since its always super dark when i wake up, he just comes in my room and turns on the light and it always gets me up.

that and self perseverance.

Like the people of ole, if you wish to get up early, you drink a large amount of water before you go to bed and your bladder will get you up to relieve yourself. It will always work..... the more you drink, the earlier you'll have to get up. Try it, you'll like it....

i feel your pain . . . i sert two different alarms within about 5 minutes from each other. and then i dance between both snooze buttons lol after awhile i just have to give up and face the morning.

the only other thing i can think of is drink lots of water before you go to bed. by the morning time you will have to pee so bad it will force you out of bed.

im with fatguy, put your alarm clock even in another room where it will annoy you and make you get up to turn it off.
if poss have an iced coffee or kettle w coffee in it just waiting to be made nearby.... or get in the shower!

Have two alarms. Set one about a half hour before you need to get up, with the snooze feature. And the second alarm should be farther away and loud so you have to get up to turn it off.
