I know it's not healthy, but...?!

Question: could i possibly lose 15-20lbs in a month by eating mostly raw fruits and veggies (low cal, healthy ones) and occasionally fat-free, low cal vegan protein (no fish or meat or eggs or dairy of any kind). i'm 5'4" and roughly 130lbs right now. i know it isn't healthy and i'll probably gain it all back so i'm not really looking for a lecture, just some info. thanks for your help!

Yes! I am a 24 year old women, 5'4 130lbs. I did the same diet and yes you will lose it but gain it back. I did it the worst way! I was also taking a weight loss pill too. I cant rmember what it was called but Anna Nicole Smith sponserd them. In a red box, you can find it at walmart. Good luck!

Okay, no lecture. Yep, you'll lose the weight. Good luck with that.....and the gaining of it all back........

try low carb 20 carbs a day you will lose the weight you need :) dont forget to subtract the dietary fiber from the amount of carbs on the back....i lost 30 pounds in less than 2 months IT WORKS :)

the vegan thing could work for you, but you will gain all the weight back so it's pointless.

So you know it's not good, that you'll regain it later and you still want to do it?

In my book, that's a classic sign of insanity, or at the very least a really big obsession. And considering that at your weight and height, you're not overweight it makes it even worse. You're actually at a very good weight and don't need to lose so much. 20 pounds less means you'd be borderline underweight.

Having said all that, no. It's not possible. You'd need to go on a starvation diet to lose that kind of weight. And really, that's not the way to go. As you know you'd gain it all back so you'd starve yourself for a month and put yourself through hell for no reason.

I really hope he's worth it.

If you lose 15-20 lbs in a month you will regain it all.

Too much too quick is the perfect recipe for a wasted effort as haste leads to waste. You have to be patient and the rule of thumb is NOT to lose more than 2 lbs or 1 kilo a week. Slow and steady is the way to do it.

Losing weight is the easy bit and keeping it off is the hard bit.
