Running vs Jump rope?!
Question: I want to lose weight, which one burns more calories? I can jump rope a good 20mins (w/ mess up of course and max 20second rests) and 30min with rests. Or i can just run 30 minutes straight...which one will burn more calories in a 30min time period?

as a runner, jump rope and running should both be used.
30-45 mins of running and 3, 10mins sets of jump roping with a min break in between.
for calories count running would be more productive.
running 45 minutes would be best. body starts burning fat at around 20 minutes.
I think in the long run you'll have an easier time sticking to a running program, gradually lengthening it and increasing your running speed. For long-term weight loss, it's a better choice.
I would say jump rope cause you are using both ur arms and legs.
Try jump roping for 1 hour everyday
Running helps more
Run 20 mins rest 5 min and Jump Rope for 20 min

do a combo of the two, this provides variety and stimulates muscle that the other doesnt do
