Help!! please answer asap!!?!
Question: i am a 14 year old female..weight is 107. ..5 feet tall...i know that is normal, but i wanna lose weight ( like 2-3 pounds)before going on my trip cuz i know i will eat plenty junk food there..this will be on march 7th of this year..i want to know how mnay calories i need to eat to MAINTAIN this weight of 107 pounds..i will calculate how much to eat after that..thank u so much!!10 points to best most detailed answer!! oh yeah, and how much is too much calories and what is too little..please tell me how u KNOW!! for someone my age and weight and stuff

Have you gained or lost weight recently? At 14 you should have a great metabolism and not really need to do anything in particular to maintain your weight unless you have issues already.
As for how many calories you should eat, it depends entirely on how active you are. If you don't get much exersice you can go down to 1500 calories per day. If you're heavily involved in athletics, you can probably go up to 3000. 2000 calories is considered the average amount for for a moderately active adult to maintain a healthy weight. Since you are not an adult yet and may still be growing, you will have slightly different needs. A daily multi-vitaminis almost always a good idea. You may consider talking to your Dr or a nutritionist to make sure you not only keep a healthy weight, but get the nutritional needs of an adolescent.
to mainttain your weight u need to eat 2000 calories
so if u want to loose weight, u have to eat 1500 calories and u have to burn 500 calories a day also. and if u do this for one week to a week and a half, u will loose 2 pounds
if u r 1.50 meters (about 5 feet) u should always tale the after coma => 50 kg = 110 lbs and so on
if u r 1.60 meters = around 5.4 feet =. 60 kg = 132 lbs
and so on
