Overweight is unhealthy, and anyone who brings unhealthiness upon themselves shouldn't be proud of their habits.
I'm a smoker (and not proud) and i am descriminated against constantly, fatties deserve no special treatment.
Looks aren't all that phrase is talkinga bout. Its about being ok with who you really are. Weight has nothing to do with personality or kind heartedness. These are attributes that are also of value & should be more so than the physical.

If we had a purely capitalistic healthcare system then people would be free to do whatever they wanted with their own health.
Unfortunately, there's a little bit of socialism in the woodpile. Insurance is the capitalist version of socialism - think about it... the insurance company decides who is insurable and how much rates are... everybody pays in, and the sick get reimbursed for their medical charges. In a socialist society, it is everybodies business how much you weigh, what you eat, how much you drink, and how fat you are.
So... I think being fat is fine... I also think that socialism is wrong.
