If i work out for 2-3 times a week..?!


Question: Will i be toner for the summer? I'm 15, 145 pounds & 5'6.

i just started to hit the gym with my sister, and i do carido for an hour (two different machines)
I go to yoga class once a week at the gym. And i try to walk home from school(35 minute walk, with a big hill to go up on)


I trying to eat healthy also, i really really want to look 'toner and tighter' so i can wear a binkini and not feel really fat around everyone.

Do you think i will make it? Will i look good?

the bikini season is about 3 or 4 months aways. So if u up the water intake and eat smart you should be doing great!! Avoid sugars.....nooo soda please, also avoid juices there not good for anyone, with all that sugar. you should eat 5 small meals a day to keep your metabolism running on high. Mix your workouts up so you don't get bummed out and stop. Keep your eye on the goal and you can do anything you want!!

I would suddgest if you do that for 5 months you willo loose
45 pounds...................

If you can keep to that routine, then you will definitely get that lean, sexy look! Remember, the hardest part about working out is starting and staying on a routine. It looks like you have already conquered one of those. Good luck!

if you exercise in any way, you will definitely be fitter. for it to be noticable, you need to keep it up
you have 3-4 months until summer. so that = approx. 24-48 days where you'd work out.
thats really not a lot. why dont you go for a quick run in the morning (15-30 mins or so) and a quick jog after school? doing something every day is much more effective than doing something haphazardly whenever you can.
Also, weight lifting and muscle burn is really effective. The pain from muscle burn is actually partially = calories being burnt (with out you having to do anything!)

remember to always eat healthy and drink LOTS of fluids
no matter what, maintain a positive view on your body.

That's a good routine, maybe if you want to see a difference faster go to the gym 3-4 times a week versus 2-3. If your diet sucks, you WILL need to change it. It's really hard to get flat abs unless you're eating healthier. What I did to get flatter abs is just cut out bad snack food. Now I just snack on yogurt and fruit mostly, but there are other snack foods out there too! Also, if you want to lose weight, keep your cals between 1600-1800. Cardio will definitely work though, it's the only thing that really gets rid of body fat all over!

ya you can definentley make it! you'll probably have to work out a little bit more tho, probably 4-5 times a week. and if your looking to tone up, don't forget to lift weights, try for weight lifting 2-3 times a week, it burns tons of calories, and tones your muscles.
