Is walking briskly considered cardio?!
Question: Hi Cheerios,
Brisk walking, indeed, can be cardio. This depend on how long and how far you walk. In the beginning, it's good to alternate between fast and slow walking, buiding up stamina. You need your heart rate up for about 20 minutes or so to have any benefit.
Curiosity --- Why are you interested in cardio? That's typically for those that a doctor prescribes for a person to do cardio. The doctor also gives instructions.
Just a thought. Hope this helps.
