Help!!! jogging question. please help me out.?!
Question: i am in bad shape, not the worst but pretty bad for what i used to be. i want to jog but i gt tired too fast. i dont want to walk, if i can only jog a mile, is that better than walking a couple miles? will i burn more calories that way? or will walking longer work? and how do i get enough stamina to keep pace?

You build stamina by not quitting just because it gets tough. You will burn more calories the longer you work out. Don't run, just walk for now. You will burn more calories walking for an hour or more, than running for just 10 or 15 minutes. Running will come later, if necessary.
I was 6ft, 246lbs, 50+ inch waist. Now I'm 6ft, 170lbs, 34- inch waist. I got this way by starting out walking.
Try doing both walking and jogging. Walk, then jog and when you get tired walk again, then jog, and so on. You will get better!
jog at a slow pace for as long as you can speed walk what you cant jog eventually you will be able to make the whole way at a jogging pace and once you can do that pick up your pace then increase the distance
good luck
