How much weight should I aim to lose?!
Question: I'm 16, about 6 foot tall and weigh 170 pounds.
I'm looking to loose about 20 to 25 pounds but I'm not sure what my ideal weight is. Any ideas?

It should only be about 10 lbs if my math is right...My doctor told me that for every inch you are over 5 feet you can gain 5 lbs over 100 lbs per inch, for instance if you are 5'5" you should be around 125 lbs.
shoot for 1-2lb per week consistantly. consistant slow loss is the way to keep it off. low calorie diet. count calories
Go for an ideal clothing size rather than an ideal weight. Weights vary by bone and muscle size and clothing varies by manufacturer.
You may be really slight or really muscular---go for clothes rather than weight...good luck
