Weight lifting diet question?!

Question:

Weight lifting diet question?

I have just started a new weight lifting routine and it says I have to follow a specific diet in order to work. But I can not find one of the items in my grocery store. Its called flax seed oil. I was wondering if their is something that is extremly similar that I could use in its place. The other oils that my store has is olive, corn, vegatable, sesme seed oil, and pure olive oil. Would any of these make a suitable substitute? Or is there something else I can use?

Answers:

What is really special about flax seed oil is that it contains a lot of omega 3 fatty acids. These are essential fatty acids which are rather hard to get from your diet. I don't believe any of the other oils you mentioned contain much omega 3. Try ordering from Vitamin Shoppe online. They will have lots of omega 3 products.
