Energy Recovery after running.....?!
Question: Looking for suggestions on what to consume that will replenish hunger after a run (3-6 miles). I'm trying to lose weight so I am not wanting something that will put calories back in (unless good calories).....any suggestions? I just need to get rid of the hunger that hits once I'm done.

high quality carbs such as bananas, whole wheat or whole grain cereal, pasta..
I'm a distance runner and do not usually get hungry until quite awhile after.
They tell you to try to replace those carbs within an hour though..
dried figs,raw almonds & green tea/lots of water
Gravy from a gravy boat.
Just kidding. I would say that the above poster is right, thanuts, green tea, and other healthy stuff would be great.
