Question: Why does only eating soup make you lose weight!?

Well, it depends what kind of soup you eat!. Most of the canned soup at the grocery store will get you to lose some weight if that's all you eat because soup is half broth and half solid food!. Solid food normally packs more calories than liquid, so if you eat soup all the time, you should be eating a lot less calories than if you were eating a normal meal of all solid food!. Also, some soups contain a good amount of fiber which wards off hunger to a small degree!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it is soup generally you are cutting calories because it is different than how much you usually eat!. And soup with vegetables and broth can be very filling and very healthy!. I suppose it would be fair to say that not just any "soup" would be good to lose weight on!. You'd probably need to check the sodium content (if you're eating already prepared foods) etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I make my own homemade soup and only have veggies, a little milk, bullion, and water in the recipe!.
