Would this diet work?
I need to lose around 20 pounds by the first of september, so if i eat only lettuce and drink water also exercise daily, do you think i could do it?

i dont care if its not healthy as long as it stay off. AND I ALSO AM GOING TO TONE UP SO THAT WILL ADD SOME WEIGHT!

yea but it wont be healthy. yoou need protein to maintain your muscles and fat to support brain functions. also if your under the age of 18 or still growing youll need carbs and more calories to continue growing. also too much vegetables such as lettuce can make you fat too. its esentially all fiber, simple and complex carbs. if you eat too much, like anything else it will turn into fat.
try this instead
best way to lose weight is to :
eat less more often but make sure its roughly the same amount or slightly less than usual
eat lots of fiber(cellery) and drink lots of water
eat breakfast (2 eggs on wheat toast)
dont eat within 3 hours of sleep
run an hr each day at a steady pace without any breaks
do jumping jacks or anything that will increase your heart rate right after you wake up
get up to go to the bathroom around for 5 minutes every hour
don't eat foods with more than 20-30% calories from fat
(fast food)
get 8 hrs of sleep
when you do eat meat make it lean meat such as chicken, fish and eggs. most of your fat should come from salmon and oter fish.
when u eat carbs it should be from vegetables, fruit and wheat bread
