I'm a bit confused...please help...?

I want to gain muscle mass...so i consume more calories; however if i want defined abs i gotta run and burn calories...so in the end won't i be at da same place where i started??

What you are describing is building muscle and losing fat, which is more important than numbers on the scale. Yes, you may end up weighing the same amount, but you will still be leaner and healthier.

Do cardio most days of the week and strength training 3 times a week. Allow 48 hours in between strength training sessions. Don't pay too much attention to the scale, and make sure you are eating a well balanced diet!
