When working out a lot, what's a good way to curb hunger?!

Question: When working out a lot, what's a good way to curb hunger!?
The more I work out, the hungrier I get!. I think this goes back to my contact sports days when I actually wanted to be bulkier to be more effective in the sport!. My body equates working out with needing more calories, so I get cravings if I'm really pushing it!.

What are some ways to do both exercise and eat less!? I don't need to lose a lot of weight, but also don't want to really bulk up, either!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
2 reasons why you are hungrier after your workouts, #1 your metabolism is faster #2 your muscles need feed ,the best time for your muscles to absorbe protein is 30-60 minutes after your workout hence the hunger you feel!.If you don't feel like eating much after workouts I suggest you drink a protein shake ,so just give it a try and hopefully all will workout for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

High protein foods are best at filling you up, like chicken breasts and other low-fat meats!. You can still eat alot of protein without bulking up as long as you burn the protein energy with cardiovascular exercise as opposed to heavy weight training!. Its also good to eat complex carbs such as whole wheat products and whole grain rice as they take longer to digest and will not turn into fat like white flour based products!. Beans and nuts are also a great source of protein, almonds are a good choice!. And as always ensure you are ingesting you recommended servings of fruits and vegetables!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to do more cardio!.

If you're hungry after working out with weights, then you need to go out and run off (or whatever cardio method you choose to use) that pent up energy!. You should do a lot of cardio anyway, as you get older, as this is what exercises your heart and lungs!.

Generally, once you get in from a cardio workout, your midriff is too tight and you don't have the desire to stuff solid food into it!. Instead, you usually crave a lot of water and some salty snacks to nibble on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would intake a lot of fiber and drink a lot of water, both of those things help you feel full!. Hopefully after an adjustment period your body will just stop feeling so hungry!.

Protein also helps you feel full, but when you take in a lot of it it makes your liver and kidneys work harder which could cause problems!. You can help prevent issues by drinking more water, but really I just wouldn't push those organs any more than I already do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well from my own experience, i found that eating small snacks consisting of broccoli, baby carrots, or even just lettuce has helped me feel more "full" throughout the day!. These foods seem to be very filling and also very low in calories!. You should be able to continue whatever workout schedule you have set for yourself, combined with these foods and feel less cravings!. It may not work for everyone as it did for me, but well worth a shot!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Eat the right things, in the right amounts, and you'll do terrifically!.
Protein is vital to building and rebuilding your muscles!. It also staves off hunger sensations!. How about eating the daily quantities which are appropriate for your age, height, etc!. Also try to have some before starting your routine(s), maybe in liquid form (milk, kefir, yogurt) so it starts metabolizing a little quicker than solid!.
Best wishes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have the same problem!. The more I exercise, the more I eat!. I've recently starting taking something called "Triple-Action Weight Control"!. It's supposed to have hoodia, green tea and magnolia!. Anyway, it was on sale at Walgreen's $6!.99 for 30 pills (buy one, get one)!. I think it really curbs my appetite!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It isn't just you!.!.!.that is how bodies function!. Snack on a few almonds (key word - a FEW b/c they are fatty!.!.!.the good kind of fat, but nonetheless, fatty)!. These will help satiate your hunger with just a few nuts!. Or, you could have a hardboiled egg!. Or a grapefruit!. Just try to think of whole foods that provide nutrients that your body needs, not junk like chips, pretzels, etc!. "Lean Dessert" protein shakes are also good for after a workout!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

!.!.!.eat food!? Sorry, I couldn't resist!. Eat plenty of starchy, filling foods that will provide you with plenty of short term energy, but won't really provide you with the necessary material to bulk up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
