Am I in starvation mode?!


Question: Am I in starvation mode!?
Well,first off, I am completely sedentary!.!.!.I spend most of my days at home, sitting in front of the computer or laying down!. Im currently having 1,400-1,500 calories a day, because of me being sedentary!.!.!.all of the sudden just this week I started gaining on 1,500!.!.!.!.and even on 1,400!.
I gained !.5 lbs in one day, then !.2 and then another !.5 lbs!.!.!.!.I dont understand why Im gaining!.!.!.I do have my period coming up soon, so Im hoping its just water weight!.!.!. but even when I ate 1,200 one day to see if that made me lose (cos im trying to lose around 3 more pounds to reach my goal weight) I ended up maintaining instead!.!.!.!.

is this starvation mode!? or just water weight from the period!? has anyone experienced this!? specialy women in general!.!.!.during your period, no matter what you do, even dropping calories, are you unable to lose weight!?

any advice is really appreciated!.!.

Its your period girl, If I were you I would not worry too much about it, still watch what you eat and when you are eating but other than that I would just wait til the week is over!.!.!.!.!.

You should be ok on calories but the bigger issue is how are you consuming them!? How many meals and snacks do you eat!? Also what are the types of foods you are eating!?

My best friend, who I work out with often always throws out any hope of losing weight during her period!. The water retention just throws her off completely!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you're worrying about 0!.5 pounds, then maybe you need to think things over!. not about the weight, but the way you value things!.
"ideal weight" does not come out of a book, but it all depends on your height, body build and how you feel!. If you look like a barely alive skeleton and feel like !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.t then I somehow doubt it is worth it!.
best of all- get off your butt and go for a walk, or a bicycle ride, or roller skating!. You'll feel a lot better!. Moreover you'll get some muscle tone!.
All you'll get from lots of computer time is a bad eyesight and a flat bottom ;-))
