Answers:
These basic requirements are actually extremely easy compared to the further training presented to SEAL candidates!. Each candidate is expected to complete these requirements with flying colors and it is highly recommended that you go even further!.
If I were you I would train to do
- 50 push ups easily
- 50 sit-ups easily
- About 20 pull-ups easily
- 1 mile run in boots in sand under 12 minutes
- 10 pool-length swims in under 10 minutes
If your able to accomplish these your in relatively fine shape, but do keep in mind SEAL training is only 10% physical!. Almost all DORs (Drop On Requests) occur because of mental weakness!. You will even have to face physical hardships you cannot prepare for!. Such instances are long periods in extremely cold water, 5 days without sleep, and even unexpected injuries that you must cope with along with the training!.
Just remeber being a SEAL is not just about the glamour and popular image!. Becoming a SEAL is not just a profession, it's a lifestyle!. SEALs on active duty spend less than a month at home, the rest of the time they are continiously training - there's a reason they're known for being tough!.
If you have the determination and will, then nothing else matters!. Just keep in mind, character, integrity, and heart is everything to SEALs and never forget that!.
Good luck with your dreams and may we all fulfill them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
