The idea that working out will help you live longer IS A MYTH!.

Keeping your body well maintained, or increasing your physical ability gradually throughout your life, will help you enjoy life more, but it won't give you more of it!.

If you ride a bike, your chances of being run over in traffic will increase (even if you ride carefully, wear high-visibility gear, etc)!. But your enjoyment of life will also increase, so that you're less likely to die of something stress-related!.

If you are injured, the positive attitude and strong physique that exercising gives you, will make the injury easier to cope with, and speed up your recovery!. And if an injury (or other illness) is permanently disabling, your experience of physical training will help you to be as active as possible despite the new limitations due to your impairment!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i dont know how much older you wll end up but think about it!. i dont believe that many of those things are true!. some say that if you dont smoke you will live longer, if you laugh alot it adds years to your life!. i dont know if it adds more years to your life but you will look younger as i saw this on a video in my health class!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

exercising itself is a great routine to do everyday
i honestly don't know if it can increase you life span, but knowing the fact that you are doing something good to your body is always the reward

it doesn't necessarily lower your chances for like cancer or anything, but makes you more active, alert, and stronger everyday

just stick with your routine and challenge yourself with different exercises, i like to do push-ups, sit-ups, wall-sits, and play basketball everyday :PWww@Answer-Health@Com
