Question: How to lose this weight!?!?
i m 23 years old female with height 5 '6" and weight is 180 lbs i need to lose weight and tone up my entire body in 4 months!.this is weight is my pregnancy weight!.my diet is
15 oz low fat milk and 4 slices of bread breakfast
8 oz orange juice
3 cups of rice and 2 cups of vegetables for lunch
1 banana and 1 apple with icecream for snack
4 cups of rice and 8 oz yogurt for dinner

wow, you're getting a load of calories at breakfast -- a slice of bread is typically between 100 and 140, so that's at LEAST 400 right there! i advise that you cut down on that!. try two slices a day (a serving is one slice), preferably of whole wheat or white whole wheat, which is more beneficial to your health than plain white bread!.
a serving of milk is one cup, so you're drinking almost twice the recommended serving!. that's about 220 calories there!. so before you've even started your day, you've consumed at least 600 calories!
next, the cup of orange juice!. on average, a cup of o!.j!. is around, i dunno, 130 calories!.
that's about 750 calories!.
at lunch, you're eating several times more than is recommended!. a serving of rice is about the size of a tennis ball, at about 240 calories (nevermind any butter you use!)!. so three cups!? that's about 720! i'm not even gonna try to figure out how many calories are in your veggies, because i have no idea what sort they are!. so just remember, that could be anywhere from, say, 75 to 300!. !.
so now we're up to about 1,470 calories!.
next, a *small* banana (around six inches long) is 90 calories!. a large one (around eight inches) is 120 calories!. (i don't know what size you're eating!.) now we're up to around 1,100!. a small apple (with a diameter of about 2!.5 inches) is 55 calories, while a large one (about 3!.25 inches in diameter) is 110 calories!. (again, i don't know what size you're eating!.)
now we're up to around 1,600 calories, *AT LEAST!.* (remember, it could be several hundred higher!.)
ice cream is full of calories!. check the label, it depends on what flavor you're eating to determine the calories!. but know that a serving is usually half a cup to one cup, and that very small amount is pretty much always at leeeast 100 calories!.
so we're up to at LEAST 1,700 calories!.
four cups of rice brings it up to around 2,700!.
i don't know what kind of yogurt you're eating, but one cup of plain, lowfat is 140 calories!. yours could be much more!.
so we're at, roughly, 2,850!.
that is a lot!.

how hard are you going on the treadmill!? walking five miles per hour, for example, expends about 130 calories at 180 pounds!. 130 calories vs!. 2,850!.!. see the problem!?

the key is to eat THE RECOMMENDED SERVINGS! i know, that can be REALLY tough!. i'm definitely guilty of breaking that rule!. but i try to stay below 1,000 calories a day!. (i live a pretty unactive life!.) read labels, and measure your portions carefully!. eat VERY SLOWLY and control yourself!.
try to find healthy alternatives to what you eat!. for example, frozen yogurt instead of ice cream!. (although i'd recommend you drop that entirely anyway!.) high calorie butter!? get a lower calorie one and use less!. high sugar o!.j!.!? get a better one!. high calorie yogurt!? get a better one!Www@Answer-Health@Com

the problem is your portions are to large!.
3-4 cups of rice!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
ushud be eating a 1/4- 1/2 cup of rice!. instead of using normal rice u shud use brown rice it has many more minerals and vtamins also more fibre!.
4 slices of bread !.!.!.too much!.!.!.minimise that to 2 slices a day whole wheat or whole grain bread!.
Get rid of the ICECREAM substitute with plain yogurt!.
The 30 mins of thread mill is good but u should alsodo some weight training!.

Let me introduce you to the "Hand method" for portion control

The hand method is used to ensure you're eating healthy portions relative to ur body size!.

Eat a salad the size of both your hands put together!.
Eat meats andpoultry the size and thickness ofthe centre of your palm
Eat a handful of fruits and or vegetables
Eat fish the thickness of the cente of your palm, thelength of your hand and the width of your three fingers(index, midle and ring fingers)

DONT forget try to cut out the drinkand only drink water as drinks add on too much unessary ccalories and only adds on excess amount of sugar!.!.which if not used up is stored as FAT!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

stop eating so much rice, and eat more meat!. protein will help you to gain muscle!. i know you arent trying to GAIN weight!.!.!. but with exercise, protein will help you lose the fat and replace it with leaner muscle!. running is a great way to get toned!. and dont worry, you dont have to be good at it!. just go jogging everyday!. start small, and gradually increase the amount of time, or the distance you run!. good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

Cut wayyy back on the rice - a serving is 1/2 cup!. Stick to 2 slices of bread at breakfast!. Add protein: chicken, fish, tofu, beans, eggs!.!.!. it will keep you full!. Drink lots of water and keep up the excercise!. Check with your doctor for further info!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i think that's too much rice and bread, is it brown rice and whole wheat bread, cause if it's not then that's bad for you!.
maybe check out a few 1300calorie eating plans online, what you are eating doesn't sound right!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
