It depends on your diet and the type of exercise that you are doing. If you are eating a lot of junk food and only exercising 30 minutes a day, then you wont lose weight. Infact you might even gain weight. if you are eating a very healthy diet and doing 30 minutes of cardio then you would lose weight.
I sleep about 10 hours a day, eat a healty diet of brown rice, fish and steamed vegetables, and I do 30 minutes of low impact aerobics every day .
