Do not do any horrible diets - they only depress and make your body work bad!.!.!.
But - if you do have extra fat that you do not want to carry, you can make changes in your life style!.
The main key to lose fat, is to build more muscle!.!.!. then, if you have more muscle, you also burn more fat even when you are not working out!.!.!.!
So, eat healthy - lots of vegetables, whole wheat products, fish, chicken etc!. etc!. Avoid fat, and fast food!.
Eat something small every 3 hours, so that your blood sugar lever will be steady all the time, and that way keep up your metabolism in a good way!.

And really, do work out more!.!.!. go out running before breakfast (thats when you burn from your fat and not the food, since you have been fasting during night sleep)!.
