I had bladder surgery and will never be able to lift more than 25 pounds again..!

Question:

I had bladder surgery and will never be able to lift more than 25 pounds again...how do i tone up?

i am 38 years old...overweight but on a diet and will be cleared for exercise next week.... cleared for things like the treadmill, the elliptical, and the stationary bike... i need to ask my doctor if i can do circuit training with light weights....

he has already said no more yoga which requires you to lift your own body weight....

how do i tone up without ruining my bladder surgery results?

Answers:

Ask your doctor about using bands to work out. Light bands add a little resistance to your work out without adding to much weight. High reps and low weight work for me.
