Answers:
hi! i'm 22, 5'1" and your same weight, and in the same boat!

i started my regimen about two weeks ago and i'm already seeing changes!

here's what i did!.!.!.

first off, starting IS the hard part!. sometimes you just have to throw yourself into it! just take a deep breath and go!

you'll need a good pair of tennis shoes (i love my saucony jazz shadows)!.

the easiest thing to do for now is to drink a lot of water! at least 64 oz a day!. buy a nalgene or any kind of water bottle with the measurements on the side; i find that that helps me measure my water intake! you'll get so many toxins out of your system this way, and your body will function so much better if you are properly hydrated!

step two: change what you eat!. cut out junk food, fast food, and fried food! try to stay toward white meats, with servings no bigger than your palm!. keep up on your veggies! i hate most veggies, actually, but i find that i like raw carrots, raw broccoli, raw cauliflower!.!.!. and snow peas and snap peas! those are great! snack on veggies in place of chips!. or you can snack on fruit pieces, too! apples, bananas, oranges!.!.!.

80% of losing weight is changing your eating habits!

now, as for exercise!.!.!. you need to be doing at least 15 minutes of activity a day!. take your kids out for a walk in the stroller! are you near a running track!? take a jog with them! my mom used to do that with me when i was little, and i loved going to the track to run around and play!

i know there are challenges with devoting time to exercise when you have children!. but taking them on walks with the strollers, or even dancing around with them at home for a while is great!

but focus on water, diet, and 15 minutes a day doing something!

you can do it!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Start slow, if your gonna do this for life you got plenty of time!. Start by slowly changing your diet!. Introduce more veggies, and fruits, lots of lean protein (chicken and venison being my favorite :p)!. Eat more salads, instead of elevators take a walk!.

As for exercising: again start slow, buy a treadmill (my apt has a pool, i use that cause i hate running with a dire passion!. i also have a bench press), better yet, go running outside and get a tan!. Its hurts at first but when your done running and the sweat is pouring out of you you feel amazing! :) endorphins are better then any drug out there!.

In the end its a lot about mental strength before your body strength!. You have to WANT to be stronger/faster/better than what you are now!. You have to WANT to go that extra mile!. Nobody can force you to (unless you go to boot camp like i did :S)!. If you don't WANT to change you won't!. Just take it slow and know that you want this!. :) i believe you can do it, and so should your!. Your a mom for crying out loud, thats way harder than dropping weight!

P>S Yoga is a good starterWww@Answer-Health@Com

You have to come up with some type of a reward system, this will help keep you motivated!. One of the best things to do is make a contingency contract!. Stating what you want to do, who will help you do it, and what do you get for doing it!.

Then also try to find a well balance diet program!. My friend did this one diet program where the average weight lose is 7 pounds in 9 days!. It might be the thing you are looking for, I know it's well balanced!. If you want e-mail me and I can tell you more about either of these!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
