OK here's my deal! I am in high school and I play both soccer and basketball and am a starter for both!. I love to go rollerblading and biking - in fact the gym where I work out is about 6 miles away so I usually rollerblade or ride my bike there so essentially I am putting in 12 miles of exercise plus working out when I am at the gym!. I don't like it when people who commit to being on a team don't give their 110% because it lets us all down - I mean I'm fine if we don't win EVERY game but if everyone doesn't work the hardest they can than THAT pi$$e$ me totally off ! I know my attitude about pushing myself has paid off because I was the youngest person recruited for my soccer team
( my fave sport) and it helps to keep my body in shape even though I am never satisfied with it!.!.lol (that's a teenage girl for ya!.!.ha)!.!.!.!.!.!.so yeah, I guess you can say it is "working well" for me and I'm glad cuz I don't know how to be any different really :) Added bonus: I don't mind the boys checking out my bod at the beach either!.!.!.!.!.ha ha ha =P

I supose with any sport to push to your limit is the best thing to do, but it depends when, if you push yourself to your limit in the first 5 minutes of a football game that doesnt do anyone any good!.
