Answers:
The short answer is yes and a little more from your lifestyle!.

Your TEE total daily energy expenditure is made up of your BMR (or RMR resting metabolic rate) a factor from your lifestyle and the exercise that you do!. The lifestyle factor is the only thing you're missing in your math!. Basically people that sit at a computer all day (like me) don't have a very high lifestyle factor, but people such as soldiers and landscapers burn a lot more from their daily activities!.

If you are burning 500-1000 calories on a treadmill you should probably be eating 45 to 60 minutes before!. You want your metabolism to be steady!. You might want to consult an RD (registered dietitian) on the way way to fuel for your activity level!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, 2000 is what your body needs to sustain itself and 1000 is what it needs for the additional exercise so you do indeed need 3000 kcal a day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
