Question: OBESE teenage girl, lose weight !?
This summer before high school i want to lose weight!.
My conifidence isnt so high and I need tips!.!.!.like how long should I exercise!? what kinds of exercise!? and how much do you think I can lose in 3 months!?!?!?
Please Im like 160 LBS! =( and thats not cool

Well, it depends how old you are!. If its bothering you that much, then sure do something about it!.

I suggest you go to ur dr and get reductal, it will make you feel less hungry, but costs about $70 a month!.!.!.

Start counting calories, like, you will probly burn 800 calories a day just by breathing walking etc!.!.!. If you do a 30min run every morning, go swimming 2-3 times a week then your looking at maybe burning 1200 calories, so make sure you only eat say!.!.!. 900 calories a day!. try having!.!.!.

Breakfast (one of the following)
2Weetbix and milk
Natural yoghurt with sliced apples and cinimin on top and a large glass of milk
Cornflakes and milk with a banana smoothie

!.!.!.!. aprox 250 calories


Lunch
Marmite/ ham sammies (wholegrain bread no butter) X2

Fruit salad

Salad (try not having dressing, it tastes better after a while and reduces calorie intake)

!.!.!.!. around 200 calories



Tea
If your like me, ur mum will cook lol, so just have what ever she has, but dont go for secconds and dont have desert !!

Snacks
Celery sticks

ONCE A WEEK!!
have a treat, but a cream bun, or something your going to like, only once, you cant completely avoid it and it will give u an insentive to keep going and ull be like 'oh i dont need that now wensdays my treat day'


tell your mum your seriously dieting and to try and avoid buying foods that your going to pig out on, she should oblige


dont forget to go for a run everyday !!! try going with friends for fun or with an ipod !

If you are REALLY determined to lose weight, lift some weights 3 times a week!. In 3 months you will lose 35-40 pounds because your body isn't used to exercise!. When you stimulate exercise in your body for the first time in a long time, your body will work extra hard and you will lose pounds really quickly for the first few months!. After the first 3, the pounds you lose start to go to down really quickly, but if you were working hard those 3 months, you'll most likely want to continue exercising, anyways!. After around half a year of consistent weight lifting, you will probably reach your ideal weight!. After that, you can tone your muscles (if you want to)!. If you don't, you can just do mild routines like jogging and running for about 30 mins a day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Start eating healthy!.!.!. this means brakefast like a whole wheat cereal!.!.!. you can also try to make a calorie intake for yourelf!.!.!. first the calorie intake should not be less than 2200 per day!.

If you have a snack attack reach for a handful of almonds and water, not chips and soda!. Almonds are good because they have fatty acids(This may sound bad to have fatty acids but it is not) and those fill you up good until your next meal but make sure not to eat more than a handful per snack

For lunch, make a sandwich like turkey and cheese or something else that is healthy!.!.!.and again water


Fried foods are okay sometimes but they are cooked on oil and that is not very good because the fried chicken can hold on to the oil and it to you making you gain a lot of weight

Never drink water while eating!.!.!.always after because when you drink water while eating you will feel full but maybe half an hour later you will feel hungry again

Excercise!.!.!.but don't push yourself to what you cant do!. first you might start by walking your dog(if you have one) or take a walk with your parents after work!. later you might want to start running with a friend!. Make sure you get at least 2 hours of excercise every week!.

Drink a lot of water and milk is really good too

I don't know what grade your in now, but weight isn't just going to come off that fast!. Work out almost everyday, and don't just walk 20 minutes you want to lose it actually push yourself!. Like when I was bigger I would run/walk/jog 5 miles everyday, do weights for about an hour, and ride a bike for about 2 hours!. Eat healthy, work out a lot, but do not starve yourself!. Take it from someone who was big and is now skinny!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you're really serious about this get a gym membership!. you can take classes and work out on the machine!. working out is actually really fun!.!. it makes you feel good!. go to the gym an hour every day!. make sure you bring water so you don't get dizzy and pass out!.
if you have a dog you can take it for walks also!. it benefits both you and your dog!.
if you have the money, you can join weight watchers!.!. it really helps you lose weight by showing you right proportions!. i know this because my mom is doing that!.
look at healthy recipes, stay away from white bread and rice, don't put a lot of salad dressing on your salad!.
throw away all the junk food! and cut out soda!.
drink a glass of lemonaide before a meal because it reduces your appetite!.
if you want chocolate eat a fudgesicle!. they're really good and not too bad for you!.
get support from family and friends!.
dont weigh yourself constantly!. wait about two weeks so you can lose water weight!.
once you lose the weight get a new hair cut and some outfits to make yourself feel great!

I am a short girl also and for some reason all fats goes straight to my thighs and belly!. I went on a 1200 calorie diet eating grilled chicken, veggies, chips and salsa (speeds your metabolism), splenda sweetened popsicles when I needed something sweet, and pretzels and mustard!. First of all!.!.!.!.learn to like who you are, not what you think people will like you for! Make your self happy! OK with that said, one way to lose weight!.!.!.kind of controversial though, is the Adkins diet! I know for a fact you can lose 40lbs in 2 to 3 months on this diet!. hi!.!. im not sure of your height , but as I have shared w!. so many , my sister got his 'change of eating ' from weight watchers!.!.
You eat 2-3 Ounces of protein every 2-3 hrs!.
brakfats , cooked peppers!.onions, then 2-33 egg whites scrambled w!. them !., fruit!.!.
I love that one!.!.
lunch things like 2-3 OZ!. of turkey meat, or egg whites again, !.!. even a hge nice salad, with the 2-3 oz of meat on there!.!. a 1/2 red baked potato!.!. you can steam them in micro, the red ones work!.skin on(poke a few holes in them, as usual), boil in 1/2 bowl of water for like 5 minutes, store extra for next time !.

dinner!.!.

remember the water all day !.!. and fruit, moderation!.!.

dinner, chicken , or some protien, even fish is great , and a nice salad too, and dont forget your water & veggies!.
this works!.!.I lost 11 lbs in 1ast wk!.I just havnt been dedicated to it, !.!.

dont starve yourself, & plze dont do the low carb diets, cabbage soup !.!. they are 'quick fixes', and we usually gain more back anyways !.!.
oh , btw!.!. in beginning , i wasnt evn excersizing, my body just new I wanted change, and I lost that 11 lbs!.!. yes I started excersizing,!.!.
stay positive, and focus , and hang out w!. positive people :)

The first step is to stop obsessing about your weight!. Only weight yourself once per month!. A more accurate tool of guaging fat loss is to use a tape measurer on a weekly basis!. Do not cut out too many calories, as that will just slow down your metabolism!. Try eating about 1800 calories per day, and exercising!. Cardio 3 times per week, weights 3 times per week!. Treadmill, stationary bike, elliptic machine has often as you can (like min!. 45 to 60 min every day, 5 days a week)!. And if you want to really go strong, I'd wear sweatpants and shirt during the workout!. This just half of what you need to do!. Then, you gotta start eating better: cut on carbs, no more soft drinks, lotsa lean food (like chicken for instance), green vegetables, etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

right now im doing this speed and conditioning class at my school which is like this workout class for six weeks
your school might have a trainer u could use or workout class u could join

consult your doctor first!. Get a "sports physical" and try out for a team (cross country, volleyball, basketball, swimming, etc!.!.!.)!. Their workouts will not only get your weight down (in a healthy way), but it provides extra motivation to stay active!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Jog around your neighborhood, ride your bike, jump on a trampoline, do sit-ups, push-ups, jumping jacks, play a sport, take the stairs, eat healthy, not too many sweet treats, just anything that is healthy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
