Question: Doing it right! Eating healthy and exercise! How long will it take!?
I have been told about sooo many different ways to lose weight fast, also that it comes right back!.

I really really wanted to lose most of my fat by high school (6 weeks) but I know it most likely won't happen without pills or it coming all back the next week!.

I wanna do it right!
EATING HEALTHY AND EXERCISE! :D

I currently stand at 5'2 and weigh 136 pounds!. I wanted to get down to 110, or in that area!.

To tell the truth I don't care how much I weigh I just wanna be thin and fit!. I want to lose 10-15 inches off my stomach, a lot off my thighs, calves, and arms!.

I am playing soccer and I do have a big calve muscle but its hidden behind fat(unless flexed) and I want that to change!. Also my arm flab hangs when my arms are up, and my thighs rub together when I walk, which I hate, my breast are huge and I don't like it(as a teen, I know I should, but they are just TOO big, but I don't want to be flat chested either), I want to lose some butt fat, love handles, and my stomache is just UGH!

I am planning on exercising 6-8 hours a day(however many my body can handle) with breaks, 5 days a week, I do deep cleaning once a week!. I will eat healthy, I'm not sure what yet!.!.

I do know that for breakfast ill eat

1 cup of cheerios w/ a few pieces of sliced banana because I can't eat food with no flavor or taste!.!.

Lunch maybe a sandwhich, or some 100 calorie soup!. Depends on how hungry I am!.

Dinner, I don't really know but I do know it should be the smallest meal of the day!.

fruits and veggies all through the day and only drinking tea and water, which isn't really a big change for me, other than milk or orange juice, are those healthy!?

I will run half a mile first day, 1 mile the next, 1 1/2 the next, and so on until I get to maybe 10, 10 1/2!.

I will also do a couple of hours of HIP HOP ABS (lots of cardio and dancing) to tone, and exercise a fun way!. And maybe some dancing and/or yoga or pilates to make me more flexible(I'd like to be able to do the splits one day)!. And my aunt is a personal trainer and has a gym so I may go there maybe once a week instead of the usual!.


Any other meal or exercise ideas are welcomed and badly needed!. :D

School starts in 6 weeks (august 25, 2008), I'm starting this plan monday(July 14,2008), how much do you think I could lose by then!? Pounds!? Inches!?

How long to you think it will take me to get to 105-110!? Or size 3/5!? (I am a 9 now)

I have a BS in exercise science!. If you exercise that much a day you will hurt your body and sabotage your weight loss!. Reduce to 2 -3 hours a day!. Do about 1 hour of cardio like dance and 1 hour of weight/toning exercises!. For example leg squats, push ups, bicep curls, etc!.

Eating cheerios for breakfast is great!. Try to avoid pastas and any type of bread!. No soda or juices!. Eat grilled foods and lots of veggies!. Eat about 1500 calories a day!. Calories are energy and with out energy you wont be able to exercise

Get a magazine like Fitness or RX for women!. These magazines usually have some good toning exercises!.

One last thing, I like to do more toning/weight lifting exercising because I dont feel hungry or tired afterwards!. These means Im less tempted to eat more and you burn the same amount of caloriesWww@Answer-Health@Com

Exercising 6-8 hrs a day is silly!.One hour a day is more than sufficiant!.Anything aerobic will burn off the most calories!.Swimming,running,walking,water aerobics!.Follow weight watchers food plan!.It's slow,but it works!.The only way to keep the weight off is to lose it slowly!.Maximum of 2 lbs a week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well, working out is a lifestyle!.!. it will always be a part of your life!.!. so u have to look at it as a new part of your life!.!. not just a temporary thing to get what u want!.!.!.

Don't eat after 7 pm and excercise every day for at least an hour i did this and i am only 12yrs old i lost over 20 lbs in 2 weeks!. My mom even suggested a therapist for me b/c she thought i was turning anorexic!. But most importantly no junk food and you will need a lot of water!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its good that you want to do it healthy, and I encourage you to loose weight the healthy way!.
While your height and weight is already a normal weight, you have to feel good so I won't tell you not to loose weight but I will encourage you to do it the proper way!. Given that you have 6 weeks and on average you can loose 1-2lbs a week I would aim for a 10lb weight loss, also, you will likely gain muscle!. muscle weighs more then fat so you will loose inches and not nessecarily see the number on the scale drop!.

The plan you descibed above is completely unhealthy and you will not be able to maintain that pace for a significant period of time!. Weight loss does not require 8 hours of exercise a day!. Aim for 30-45 minutes of cardio most days of the week and strength training 3-4days a week to build muscle!. If you dont have a gym membership, the websites for shape magazine and fitness magazines have great (and free) workouts online that you can do at home!. Strength training builds muscle and muscle burns more calories than fat does

As for your diet plan, it is lacking quite a bit!. Your calories need to come from 3 sources - carbs, proteins and fats and yours above does not reflect this!. Every meal should include these three components!. To loose weight you need to eat 3 meals a day and snacks or else your body will go into starvation mode and will hold onto every calorie that you give it!. Eating increases your metabolism which burns more calories - aim for 1400 a day!. Good food choices include lean meats, eggs, dairy, fruit/vegetables, nuts, whole grains

I've altered your meal plan to show you the difference

Breakfast - Cherrios (or other whole grain cereal), add some some almonds or walnuts to cereal(about 10nuts) and banana
or: two slices of whole grain toast with peanut butter, three egg whites and one yolk, and fruit

Lunch: Sandwich is good make sure on whole wheat bread with lean meat (turkey or chicken), and cheese You could also have a wrap instead, add some vegetables too

Dinner: Salad and a protein (meat)

Snacks - Fruit, crackers, nuts, yogurt, berries and you can also have the odd treat, remember everything in moderation this isnt a diet, it is a lifestyle

Drink lots of water, cut out empty calories

This is how I did and I lost 80lbs over 18 months, it takes awhile but its worth it and its sustainable in the long term!.

6 to 8 hours of excersice is a lot!.!.!.
You will get tired of it and eventually stop!.!.!.

I think 1 hour of cardio, and one hour of hip hop abs is enough!.

and cheerios is not a good diet breakfast!.!.!.you should stop eating cereal, rice, white bread, canned or frozen food!.!.!.and start eating REAL food!.!.!.

Breakfast is the most important!.!.!.so when you wake up drink a glass of water!.!.!.and for brakfast eat 1 egg with a slice of turkey ham and a slice of wheat toast!.!.this will get you full and it is a complete breakfast!.!.!.and you can drink orange juice!.!.!.

when you get hungry eat a small apple or any other small fruit and drink a lot of water!.!.!.!.

drink chamomile or green tea or any other hot tea during the day and after each meal!.!.!.

for dinner have a small piece of chicken, with a lot of lettuce, and vegetables!.!.!.!.

eat slow, chew your food and take your time!.!.!.


to lose weight and keep it off, it will take time!.!.!.!.
I have tried lots of diets like :the protein diet, the miracle soup diet, the liquid diet, etc!.!.!. and they did help me "lose weight" but I gained it back SO Fast plus MORE!.!.so dont do any of those diets!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
