As for a research project, I'd like to know the names of specific drugs or ingredients one should 'watch out' for in Diet pills!.

Usually people are most concerned about additives used to speed up your metabolism and give you energy, such as caffiene, blood orange extract, ephedra and zhi shi, as well as others!. They raise your blood pressure, possibly to dangerous levels, increase your heart rate, and can lead to stroke!. Some pills are made in foreign countries without the same controls on ingredients as here and can contain toxic substances not on the ingredient label!.
