Question: When you are sore, are your muscles less strong, and can lift less weight then you normally can do!?
I was just wondering, I know you should not workout when you are sore, I just never knew the answer to this question!. For example, if your chest is sore, is your bench less for a while!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It not necesarily less you just may not be ale to perform the same weight due to the muscle being sore!. Like the other poster said the muscle tears so in theory its injured and repairing itself!.

You are sore because there are small tears in you muscles, you can't lift as much!. As the muscle heals, it becomes stronger than it was origionally!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
