Question: How do i lose 20-30 pounds in 2-3 weeks!?!? (no joke!)!?
I am a 12 year old female that is 5ft 4in and weighs 150-160!

Please help me lose 20-30 pounds in 2-3 weeks!

I AM NOT KIDDING!!

i will do mostley anything besides starve myself and run 30 miles each day!.

I run around at the park alot with my dog and stuff like that!.

i really need to do this before school starts!!!

please help!

i dont want to go on any diet pills!.

Okay I won't say its impossible, but here are the numbers, you do the math!.

To lose 1 pound you need to eat 3500 fewer calories or do 3500 calories more exercise than usual!. To lose 20 pounds you need to burn up 70,000 calories; to lose 30 pounds you need to burn 105,000 calories!.

That is 35,000 calories per week, 5000 calories per day!.

You likely normally eat 2000 to 2500 calories a day!. Running at 5 mph burns about 500 calories per hour!. It is unhealthy to eat less than 1000 calories per day!.

If you drop your food intake to 1000 calories per day, you will need to exercise 3500 to 4000 calories more!. That would be running for 7-8 hours and covering 35 to 40 miles in that time!. That is the about the same as running two marathons a day!.

So I won't tell you it's impossible !.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Realize that losing weight at a healthy rate in a healthy way (eat healthy and exercise) is better for your body than putting it on a crash diet that will leave it weak just because you want to weigh less!!! I am answering this question because you need read it; you need to get past whatever is making you think you need to loose so much weight so fast!. Treat your body right and it will loose the weight the way it is supposed to!. That, and you won't have to worry about needing to loose this much again!. Sadly it is impossible!. I mean like i have a way where you can loose a pound a day but its really really really really hard to do!. You can only eat 1,200 calories a day, and you have to burn 4,700 calories a day, when you usually only burn 800 calories in a normal work out!. See what i mean by really hard!.

You eat 1,200 calories a day
And a single pound has 3,500 calories in it
When you add these two numbers together, its 4,700 calories!.
that means you have to burn all the calories you ate in your food, plus the calories in a pound!. That means you have to burn AT LEAST 4,700 calories EVERY SINGLE DAY! So even if you were to start right this moment, you can only loose about 21 pounds in a week!. Its almost impossble!. almost!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Watch what you eat!. I'm not saying starve yourself but you should stop eating food that's bad for you!. Eat alot of vegies, drink lots of water!. Don't drink soda!.!. Run alot, do alot of sit ups, do yoga, you can do simple things like ride your bike around!. Go to the gym with your mother or something!. But loosing too much weight in a little bit of time is very un healthy but you should do lots of sit ups!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You're NUTS!!! That's way too much to lose, especially in such a short amount of time!.

Besides, your BMI is perfectly normal!.

But since you really want to lose, calculate your basal metabolic rate (google it) and try to eat way less calories than this!. Also, exercise (lifting weights is an excellent idea) and do pleanty of cardio!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm not sure if this works but my friend's mom said that she lost 10lbs in a day when she drank vegetable juice non-stop for the whole day!. Just mix in a bunch of vegetables in a blender and drink it instead of actual food!. NO FRUITS!!! Fruits have a bunch of sugars so it might make you gain weight!. Keep exercising!.

There is no shortcuts, no quick fixes, no miracle cures for losing weight safely!. Cos that is what you are asking for!?!?!?!! To even imagine that you can do it, is ridiculous! You'll need to exercise like crazy, dun eat anything at all and end up killing or injuring yourself!. Just give up and re-think a more realistic goal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

but i guess the closest thing is not eating anything but fruits and vegies and a ton of water and vitamins

drink only water!. eat less than 500 calories a day eating only fruit and veggies!. run 4 miles or more!. go biking for over an hour!. do crunches and situps!. haha!. i did all this, and i lost 30 pounds in a month, but after i stopped and just exercised normally, i gained all the weight back!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't eat junk food, meat or dairy, take a multivitamin, and exercise!. This works for most people and you lose a ton of weight!.!.!.!. Its also healthy if you get all your nutrients!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You shouldn't really worry about what you eat as long as you cut out all junk foods, foods high in sugar and foods that are high in fat!. Also try cutting back on your portions and eat small meals (the size of your palms cupped together) about five times a day instead of three large meals a day!.

Don't skip breakfast!. People who eat breakfast weigh less, you need those calories to get you started for the day!. Also, people who eat soup will lose more weight than people who don't!.

Make sure you drink plenty of water!. Staying hydrated will teach your body that it doesn't have to retain those extra fluids!. The first ten pounds or so that you lose will be water weight, not fat!.

What you need to focus on is exercising!. Try walking or jogging to burn calories to lose weight!. Then start doing some light weight lifting to build muscle which naturally burns more calories on its own!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Only way to lose that much in 2-3 weeks is not eating!.!. because ur kind of overweight to start with you could lose about 20 pounds in the first week of fasting, im about your height and weight and i lost 25 lbs in my first week or not eating so yeah, I did a water fast ( only drinking water) but i felt like **** and had no energy, although people are ignorant and say that if u fast as soon as u eat again the weight will come back on, IT DOESNT if you dont pig out straight after it, you slowly go back to eating normally, and you DO NOT eat any junk food right after it!. But yeah if you do it healthy you will feel much better , but it will take ALOT longer, its up to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

"Remember, food is what fuels your body!. So feed it the best fuel!.

Here are some tips: (For what I eat on an average day)!.

Breakfast:
Option 1:
2 slices of toast with butter (and maybe an apple if you're still hungry, listen to your body)!.
or
2!. Cup of apple sauce and a banana or

3!. All natural plain or mixed fruit yogurt and a glass of water with all of those!.

Or add some toast with some of those, mix it up depending on your appetite!.

Lunch:
Salmon with apples on top!. A cup of rice!. Water!. or
Smuckers natural peanut butter sandwich with POM juice or water!.
or
A garden salad with all natural ginger dressing!.
or
a soft pretzel with cheese in a cup!. Breads will fill you up easily!. And a glass of water!.
or
A ham (or which ever meat you like) and cheese sandwhich on a small roll, with some carrot sticks on the side or hard pretzels!. (Cut out the chips!.)
Or maybe a cup of soup with crackers!.
Or
Some pasta with olive oil, asparagus, some grated cheese, and a little meat!. And around a cup size portion!.

Snacks:
Non roasted almonds desalted,
A cup of grapes or a fruit salad,
Veggie wedges, with maybe some herbs and cream cheese!.
A few slices of italian bread dipped in olive oil!.


Dinner:
For dinner just eat small portions of whatever you're parents are making!.
So for example have one piece of meat, and the sides should be about a fist full!.

Just watch your portion sizes and ward off ingredients that have hydrogenated (trans fat)or high fructose listed and anything with extra sugar added!. And remember, fruit has natural sugars!.

Taking walks in the park or helping out around the house are good ways to get natural exercise!. Along with running, etc!.


Sushi is also a good food choice!. And at your age I would suggest that you can basically eat whatever, just have cup size portions of everything or smaller portion sizes!. Maybe cut out soda if you drink it and juice drinks!. Instead, eat the fruit!.

And complelely cut out the fast food and if you're stuck, stick to just a cheese burger and small fries or make a choice to have one or the other!. I barely ever eat fast food and if I do, it's usually just a burger and small fries!. Or just the burger!.

If you could though, make a food diary too!. And is there any way you could post what you typically eat on an average day!? This might help a little more, to figure out what you're taking in and how to change it to a more healthy lifestyle/plan!.

And here's some more tips:
Take a piece of paper and write the amount of weight you want to lose!. Then start (like a calender, make boxes) and write, 1 pound loss, 2 pounds loss, and so on!. Get a pack of sticker stars and give yourself a star everytime you lose a pound or inch!. Or every pound you lose; put some change in a jar and take a penny or nickel out for each time you lose a pound, something that makes you feel better and want to lose weight!.

Then make a food diary via microsoft word, list what you ate for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and inbetween!. List the amount of liquids you took in seperate!. And make sure to list your daily weight!.

Then make a list of ways to stay active and destress, a walk in the park, trips to a museum, etc!.

And finally, A list of what you want for the future or to accomplish!.

Just make some fun list of things that you want to change in your life and how to get there!. Writing down things helps you to be realistic and helps to motivate you!. Maybe write down the reasons for wanting to lose weight or get more toned and take a paper near your bed side to remember or leave some fruit on the table!. Or, put tags on the junk food you want to avoid with sayings like "not healthy or must avoid"!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
