What type of workout burns the most calories?!


Question: What type of workout burns the most calories!?
I've been trying to lose a little weight, even though I really don't have to!. I've been running about 30 minutes a day, trying to build up my stamina so i can run miles!. I used a "calories burned" calculator and it said I burned about 225 calories in a 30 minute jog!.

Is there any other workout where you burn more calories!?
What workout will burn the most!?

Are you trying to work up your stamina or bun calories!?
interval training is the best best!.
its basically instead of jogging a mile you should sprint a hundred metres, as fast as you can, then jog till you catch your breath and thn sprint another 100!. burns waaaay more calories!.
can be done with anything from swimming to running to cycling!.
read up on it-interval training!.
if your trying to work up a stamina, and your not looking at calories brnt then jogging is the best!.

Any physical activity will burn calories, some more then others of course!. Running, swimming and weight lifting burn the most per minute but anything and everything will burn calories as long as you are moving!. Exercise in its rawest form, run instead of elliptical (as long as you can take the impact) use free weights instead of machine etc!.!. these burn more calories, but use a machine if you are not comfortable with a free weight exercise or don't have a spotter!.

interval training and sprints!. interval training burns a lot because you change up your workout, which causes more calories to be burned!. so lets say you do weights for 10 minutes and then run fast on a tredmill for 10 minutes and so on for a short period of time!. strength training with weights also continues to burn cals even after you're done working out!. sprinting does the same!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Cardio!. Though, weight training is also good because muscle burns fat all the time, even while you're asleep!. You should do both!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I found out that swimming leisurely for about 90 minutes burns almost 700 calories!. If you swim laps, you're burning a lot more!. =^D
