Why didn't I lose any weight?!


Question: Why didn't I lose any weight!?
I literally starved myself for the past week!. Ive had results, but yesterday I didnt!. I had less than 1000 calories yesterday and I weighed 148!.8 that morning!. At night I weighed 148!.2!. ALl of the food I had was protien or vegetables!. When I woke up I weighed 149!!!! I am 14 and I am 5'9!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

firstly, you don't need to lose weight - you are the perfect weight for your height so don't starve yourself!
second, the weight is probably water weight - when you starve you retai more water, so that is probably what it is
if you want to lose weight, then follow this
i did it and i lost about 30lbs over about 3-4 months

but anyway, if you want to lose some weight, then you have to limit your calorie intake!. i would recommend about 800-1300 calories a day!.

you should split this up into protein (white meats, fish and pulses), fruit, veg and dairy!. the dairy is important for iron and calcium!. it can also be quite low in fat and calories if you have skimmed milk and low fat cheese and yoghurt!.

try and avoid sweets, cakes, chocolate and biscuits - they stimulate your appetite, make you more hungry and they have loads of sugar and fat!

protein is essential for weight loss!. you should eat either meat, fish or pulses once a day (or more if you want)!. as you won't eat many carbohydrates, you body turns to fat to use as energy!. if you consume fewer fats they will get used up, causing you to lose weight!.

protein is vital to maintain your muscle mass!.

cut out the chips and crisps, and any other carbs like bread, rice and pasta

if you have to eat carbohydrates have the brown grains like brown bread and brown rice

make sure you exercise lots - try and fit at least 30 minutes into your day if you can!. you can do more if you want, but vary it like cardio and muscle training too!.

at the beginning of each month set yourself a goal - whether you want to fit into a pair of jeans, lose 5lbs or only eat chocolate once a week, set a goal to achieve!.

if you achieve it by the end of the month give yourself a treat - go and see a movie, go shopping with your friends, or go out for a nice meal!.

You're doing it all wrong!. That's why!.

What you are not aware of is that when you "Starve yourself" you are actually doing more harm than good to your body and you can actually GAIN weight because your body goes into "starvation mode" which means it starts storing all the fat instead of burning it like normal!.

To lose weight, you have to give your body everything it needs as far as nutrients and vitamins so that your metabolism is working at it's best and your body is constantly using the energy instead of storing it!.

You need to exercise and eat healthy!. Drink lots of water!.

You're way too young to be eating 1000 calories a day! The reason you didn't lose weight is in the balance of your intake!. THERE IS NO BALANCE IN YOUR INTAKE!. The body needs the right fats in the appropriate amounts and are essential for growth and development, maintain healthy skin and nails and provide the body with energy!. Signs of fat deficiency are retarded growth of skin and hair, nail disorders and impaired metabolism of fat and vitamins!. You had no fruit or carbs!. Inadequate carb intake can show up as a lack of energy or the breakdown of protein in tissues!. First of all you shouldn't be that concerned about your weight!. Weight can fluctuate throughout the day!. Second, you are too young to worry about your weight!. If you want to be in shape, don't starve yourself workout! Just by doing a workout everyday you'll lose weight fast!. Everyone is right don't starve yourself, that will never work, Food isn't bad for you, it's the wrong type of food and the quantity and times you eat that are the bad things about food!. also if you drink a lot of soda and juice, then stop and you will lose just by doing that because all of that stuff are empty calories just sugar your body burns off and you never get to the fat that needs to burn off!.

Don't starve yourselve!! Do you know how dangerous that is!? You weight can fluctuate throughout the day, so I would suggest weighing yourself the same time every day!. As well, a healthy diet and excersizing would keep your weight down!. Try eating fruits and vegtables and mainly protein!. In order to loose weight, stay off of the carbs!
