How much will my max bench press decrease after 2 months of not benching?!


Question: How much will my max bench press decrease after 2 months of not benching!?
I know that's a long time, but I made this bet at the end of the school year with one of my friends that I could be in a "132" weight class and bench 205!. Before school ended I benched 185 and haven't worked out much this summer!. I've done push-ups now and then, but I'm not sure how much that helps!.!.!. so if you have any answer, I'd be happy to hear it!. thanks in advanceWww@Answer-Health@Com

You should be able to get the 185lbs max again!. Convince yourself you can and focus on the lift and throw it up! If not read this article to improve your bench press max quickly!.

dont worry!. i graduated highschool max benching 200!. i did not weight lift at all teh following summer, that christmas (or around) nearly 5-6 months after i went back and started to work out again with a friend!. first week back i had low endurance and could barely put up 135lbs REPPING 3 sets of 8, BUT i could max bench 185!. so my max only went down 15lbs while my repping went down 25-30!. i remember my weight training coach saying strength goes last, endurance goes first!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
