Weight Watchers, on meds and gaining weight, What can I change?!

Question:

Weight Watchers, on meds and gaining weight, What can I change?

I've been on WW for a year and a half. Lost 75 lbs. Recently diagnosed with medical problem and started treatments. Now either gaining a little weekly or maintaining. It seems to be harder to loose the weight. Any suggestions. Thanks!

Answers:

Sometimes, certain medications can actually cause you to gain weight. If you continued gaining weight for over a month, then you should talk to your doctor. But if you give it time, it may just stop and you can go back to losing weight (if you wanted to). It depends if the medication is going to balance out with your body or will force you to continue gaining weight. Some medications just aren't good for certain people, and this could be an example. If you're really worried, you could go ahead and talk to your doctor, but I would say wait a few weeks. Good luck!
