Amateur runner needs help?!

Amateur runner needs help?

So, I just started jogging, and I remember a few years back reading an article from some magazine (I realize that this isn't helpful) that had a whole jogging plan to get someone who was just starting out trained properly for their first 10k. The only thing I remember is that for the first week, you jog every for 60 sec, and walk for 90 sec; this is done for 25 min straight. But I can't remember what all the steps are for the following six weeks to get up to jogging a full 10k. Does anyone have any advice, or perhaps know about this article?
