Can i take lysine supplements to help me grow taller?

i read in an article an it said that i can grow taller by taking lysine supplements or food that contains lysine. Is this true? I'm 17 and I'm only 5 ft 4 inc. please help suggest some ways to help me grow taller too. thx u guys!

nope...that article is completely inaccurate. lysine has absolutely no effect on increasing the size of the human skeletal system
