Is this okay for a balanced diet?
just looking to lose a bit of weight but mainly be healthier. i've been eating like this for the past week or so, what could i add/change to improve it please?...
breakfast: oatmeal
lunch:nothing
snack: 2 fruits and maybe cheese or something
dinner: microwave meal or something similar (usually meat potato and vegetables)

balanced means using every part of the food pyramid... and using choices from each group in each meal... grains are a huge part, fruits (fresh fruits), fresh veggies, milk products... etc...
microwave meals are a sure way to GAIN weight fast! Stay away from processed foods!
