40 pounds in 9 weeks...?

i'm 5'4 and 168 pounds
i just really want to be average, around 130 pounds.

tell me how much excersize i should do daily to lose 40 pounds in 9 weeks, im completely committed.

cardio, diet, and strength training. the most important is diet. 9 weeks is a short time to lose 40lbs. it can be done, but i think you may want to extend it to 3 months. you will more than likely lose alot of muscle on way while losing weight.

but if this target weight is all you want to accomplish the best diet to lose that amount of weight in such a short period time is a low carb, high protein diet. also be mindful of your calories too. i subtract 500 (this may differ for you) from my maintenance calories.

maintenance for me is roughly about 2500. (175 x 14) when i cut after a bulk cycle i try to keep the calories between 1900-2000. also eat 5-7 small meals a day. small meals boost your metabolism and your body will be able to burn fat more quickly.

excercise 6 times a week, a combination of strength training and cardio. the strength training is important because muscle is what constantly burns fat. cardio burns calories.

be smart, eat right, excercise.
