Question:

Should I lose some weight?

I'm 5'4" and I weigh 130. Most of my fat is in the hips area and boobs. My stomach isn't really toned either tho (waist is 27 inches)... it's not big just a lil flabby lol. I don't think I'm overweight but I just wanna tone up a bit. And some of my family is obese so I wanna lose the fat gene lol. What are some good excersises I can do to tone up my thighs and hips and lower stomach? And should I change the way I eat??? I am spanish and mexican and also italian so food is really big in my family...making it hard to stick to a diet. Any suggestions? Please and thank you =)

Answers:

It sounds to me like you are the perfect weight for your height and everything. If you still want to tone up some things you can do are crunches or the variations of crunches, lunges, walking and running are good exercise as well. Im sure you know all the regular stuff. Nothing works better than the tried and true.

As for eating, I would say eat what you like. Don't overstuff yourself at ever meal, of course. Veggies are good. Carbs and bad fats are generally not good for weight loss. Also, drink a lot of water. No Soda haha
