Is it unhealthy to be a "health nut"?!

Is it unhealthy to be a "health nut"?

I eat extreemely healthy and have so for a few years now but sometimes i feel like i need some beer and pizza every once in awhile just to balance things out a bit. I seriously think if i didn't balance it out my body would be much weaker. your thoughts please?


Answers:

Moderation, not deprivation is better and more sustainable. If you are too strict, you could harm yourself with stress or even cause psychological problems or an eating disorder (anorexia or orthorexia).

Chill out, and enjoy a treat when you want. Also, cravings often indicate something your body needs.

Don't go overboard in either direction.
