I think I need to gain weight..?!


Question: I think I need to gain weight!.!.!?
im a 15 year old male, about 5'10 and 125 pounds and I feel that I could gain some weight (or the appearance of weight), but it's not as easy just eating for me!. I'm not anorexic or anything, I actually eat more than a lot of my friends, and I don't over-exercise!.

Every time I make my yearly visit to my relatives, they always say that I am so skinny, and im starting to believe it!. My friends think so too!.
I'm planning to work out a lot, but I was thinking!.!. If i want to work out!.!. don't I need some body fat to burn off!?

Eat nutritious foods that are high in calories!. Examples are whole-grain breads, vegetables such as avocados and potatoes, kidney beans, lean red meat, poultry and fish!.

Increase your normal portion size!. Take a second scoop of pasta, or add two bananas to your oatmeal!.

Choose higher-calorie foods when given a choice!. For example, corn is higher in calories than green beans!.

Relax - excessive fidgeting and restlessness can burn up a lot of calories!.

Add weight lifting to your exercise program!. It helps build muscle mass!.
