If you are very active you need to take in more then the average person!. If someone does weight training or a hard workout they need to help their muscles recover with protein!. Beans are a good source, peanut butter(pure) is really good, I know tofu has protein I'm Just not sure on how much and rice doesn't sit in the category of high protein foods!. You should try to take in some dairy products!. You may even want to consider a protein supplement such as Isopure shakes or Hi-protein bars!. They are high in protein and nutrients and low in extra calories, they don't taste too bad but it still is a meal supplement!.
Talking with a trainer and/or doctor about your exact routine is a very good idea!. Just remember whenever you workout you need to get some protein in afterwards!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
