I find that when you are hungry and are heading to the fridge or the snacks, RUN away from it as fast as you can! The more you run away from the fridge or snacks, the more weight you will lose!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it is purely about losing body fat then it is Cardio!. But you have to incorporate a whole healthy lifestyle into your regime!.

For a healthy diet, you need to be eating small to medium meals regularly!. 4 or even 5 times a day!. Each meal (apart from breakfast which should preferably be fibre rich), should contain a balanced ammount of carbohydrates for energy, (from potatoes, rice and pasta, etc) protien (from fish, chicken, occassional red meat is fine, soya is good too) and plenty of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants (simple fresh fruit and veg)!. Eat like this and make sure you are well hydrated (fruit juice is as good as water, any fluid counts, but some fluids have negative effects too, such as alcohol or caffiene rich drinks!.)

You can have a wide range of healthy meals with this, from Thai, Chinese, Italian, British, Indian, etc!. Just make sure each meal contains balanced ammounts of these three!.

This doesn't mean you cant have chocolate or pizza/takeaway/etc, just save them as very occassional treats!.

The big secret to keeping a healthy weight and staying healthy is EXCERCISE, particularly cardio excercise (running, swimming, cycling, etc)!.

Cardio exercise will not only burn calories and reduce your body fat levels, but will also improve your resting heart rate and lung function, making you healthier!.

Strength training will help you strengthen and tone your muscles!. Heavy weights with short reps/sets will build your fast twitch muscle fibres and build size, power and strength, but if you use light to medium weights with lots of reps/sets, you wont build size, but you will tone up your muscles body and train muscle endurance!. This will obviously make you 'look' healthier and more toned, but will also increase your metabolism (as your muscles demand more energy) so you will burn calories faster!.

As far as excercise goes, you should aim to strike a balance between cardio training and strength training, this way you will build good strong and toned muscle, but also keep your body fat levels down and increase your heart and lung performance, making you much fitter and healthier!.

(ANS) Generally speaking there is No! such thing as "best type" of exercise to loose weight!. In order to loose weight you need to follow the 1st law of thermo-dynamics which is:-

a) Energy input greater than energy out put, result energy gain (weight gain)

b) Energy output greater than energy in put, result energy loss (weight loss)

c) Energy input equal to or same as energy output, result no change of state or condition!.

**in other words in order to maximize your chances or weight loss you need the following things!.

No!.1 Exercise that makes you breathless (good carovascular workout) & increases your heart rate & pulse rate!.

No!.2 Makes you swet noticably (if not your not working hard enough)!.

No!.3 The exercise should be regular & also sustained over time!. Meaning the exercise should be around about 1 hours duration & atleast 3 times a week!.

**There is little or no point in doing a hours intensive circuit training & then going for a large curry (meal) followed by x6 pints of beer!. Don't laugh at this because I used to see many many gym people do did this and its a total waste of time & money!.

No!.4 Be totally realistic in what you can actually do, meaning there is no point in pretending your going to go along to the gym 5 days out of 7 because most people wont come close to really ever doing that!. Set your goals lower & be more realistic x3 times a week is enough!.

No!.5 exercise should be considered in the context of also looking at your daily diet & seeing what changes you might need to make there as well!.

No!.6 Exercise will help build stamina, & help build self confidence physically in your body, & help you with mental self discapline (determination or staying power,etc)!.

No!.7 DON'T expect quick fixes or quick results!. To loose weight the time frame should be 6mths to 1 year!.

you need cardiovascular exercise - anything that makes you sweat and gets the circulation (and fat burning) going - running, jogging, cycling, martial arts, swimming, tennis, footballl!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.there are loads!
And it also helps to keep an eye on what you're eating! Don't starve, just cut down on alcohol, sugary and fatty stuff!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
