Question: I hate my body and its making me depressed!.HELP!!?
Im 23, female, slim and a size 10 (uk)!. I exercise 3-4 times a week!. I cant say i have always loved my body, but i used to like it, if it makes any sense!. However a couple of months ago, just HATE my legs (from the knee up)!. I mean i am slim and for some reason my legs( inner thighs) rub together and i know i could have lipo, but im not into surgery or easy solutions!. I could ask at the gym, but the instructors would probably laugh at me and to be honest im embarrassed to ask!. I thought only large people had this problem!! I just wish there was like a 1 cm gap between my inner thighs!. This is starting to affect me, as i have always loved shopping and all my friends say i am so fashionable, however a couple of months ago i just seem to HATE everything i put on :'( Please guys give some advice, and no funny jokes!!

I checked out your pics and you have such a beautiful figure!. I have to say I have been there!. I had an eating disorder for about 4 years and I worried about the same thing!. I HATED my legs with a passion and was obsessed with the fact that my thighs touched!. Now I am not saying you have an eating disorder but I am just saying that as women we are constantly struggling with things that we do not like about our bodies!. Sure I got down to a size 0 but being 5'10" that wasn't right as you might imagine!. I guess all i am trying to say is that it is ok to work out and ok to be healthy but just remember that you can change the outside only by doing those things!. You gotta start to love yourself on the inside first!. Best of luck though and no matter what remember that you are a beautiful powerful woman!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I looked at the pictures and I had the same problem until I started doing callanetics beginning and advanced for legs!. Your legs will not be perfect after doing them on a consistent basis, but they will become the best they can possibly be without the aid of surgery!. They can close that gap you are talking about!. In my opinion you look great!. I don't think your problem is slimming down your legs, it's toning the muscles in them!. Kickbacks, inner and outer thigh exercises etc!. Tighten things up!. You should be very happy with what you have :-) Mixing in some cardio will help drop body fat a point or two so you won't freak out when your jeans get tighter from the muscle development!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

maybe your legs are just STRAIGHT, you know, as opposed to crooked, so they rub off each other!?

you are slim your body is fine, just go up a size, no i am not saying you are fat, i am saying your legs are smothered in those jeans, if you just go up a size, no you are not fat, you will look better in them, you are curvy and there is nothin wrong with the way you lookWww@Answer-Health@Com

Why do you hate your legs!? They look normal to me! Don't obsess over individual parts of your body or your entire appearance in general!. The truth is no one around you is even noticing your legs!. Just live life and be happy!.

If it is really getting too you , you could tone up!.
Do some squats/lunges & other leg/thigh exercises
there are PLENTY out there!.
You have great curves , they're fine !.dont worry

PLEASE dont hate yourself!. We are all imperfect, physically and mentally!. Love yourself for what you are, for what God made you!.

There are VERY few people who actually look perfect!. The television and movies set unrealistic standards of beauty for people to live up to!.
SERIOUSLY, look around you and make a list of people who you think look perfect!. EVERYONE has some imperfection or the other - maybe a fat nose, maybe a big tummy, maybe pimples!.!.!.!.

Get a new hobby, start reading good, interesting books and make new friends from different walks of life!.!.!.personal appearance is only one aspect of an individual's life!.!.!.I'm sure you're a smart, intelligent,nice person!.!.!.love yourself for all that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There has been some good advice so far!.

I'll add my favourite fashion tip - wear skirts!.
I have a bit of upper thigh rubbing myself!.
By wearing an a-line skirt (in a non-clingy material, in a black/brown/dark colour) it skims over the outer thighs & hides the inner thighs!. No-one need know about the fact that they rub!.
And they make you feel pretty & feminine, so you can't help bet feel better about yourself!.
Trousers can have the tendency to show the shape of all of your thigh, so are not always the best option if you are insecure about them!.

Another good fashion tip if your body is pear-shaped (like mine is)!. Wear a top which is fitted & with a v-neck/scoop neck!. That way you'll focus the attention on one of your thinnest parts of your body!.

Alas, some of us are meant to have curves!.
To some degree it's possible to tone them, but you have to learn to appreciate your body shape in the long run!.
Because curves are attractive, when worn with self-confidence & a flattering outfit!.

I think you look great!. I think most of it is in your head but I would recommend getting jeans that are bootcut or flared at the ends rather than ankle cut!. That way it evens out the leg!. Your thighs wont look as big!. As for the rubbing together, that is normal for anyone!.!.!.even skinny people!. As for the instuctors at the gym!.!.!.they will not laugh at you!.
